The restaurant industry has been hit hard by the pandemic, but out of the gloomy times surrounding Covid-19 came creativity and innovation at Brasseriegruppen, which recently launched "Lunch Club" - a subscription service where members can eat lunch five days a week at one of the group's seven well-known restaurants for just under SEK 1,700 a month.
"We had already developed the Brasserie Group's loyalty app before the pandemic, and when corona came in the spring, our digitalization continued at a completely different pace. Now during the fall, our industry has faced extremely heavy adversity, but it has made us more creative than ever. We were inspired by the subscription services of streaming services and created Lunchklubben", says Filip Guvén, CEO of Brasseriegruppen.
"Lunchklubben" gives members access to lunch five times a week at seven classic restaurants for a whole year. The restaurants included in Lunchklubben are East, Prinsen, Pas d’Art, Gastrotek Zink, Villa Godthem, Orangeriet and Brasseriegruppen's new restaurant Ricordi, which will open in spring 2021. The monthly cost is SEK 1666 and includes gold membership in Brasseriegruppen's loyalty app.
"Subscriptions are an incredibly important part of people's everyday lives today. Music, TV, perfumes and flower deliveries are just a few examples. It feels extremely exciting to bring this thinking to the restaurant industry," says Filip Guvén.
"Brasseriegruppen has developed enormously during this period. Our employees have shown extremely creative sides, and the fact that this has now resulted in the Lunch Club, which we can now interact with in our loyalty app and thus create even more value for our guests, makes me proud and looks bright for the future of the group," concludes Filip Guvén.
