Food, music and people.
In idyllic Djurgården, yet close to the pulse of the city, Villa Godthem is a unique Swiss-style merchant's villa from the late 19th century. It is the classic restaurant cuisine that is the soul of Villa Godthem. Sillbricka with potatoes and Västerbotten cheese, lobster soup and Wallenbergare are permanent favourites, but the most famous is of course the "Planksteken", which has been on the menu since the mid-1950s. At Godthem, a diverse and delightful crowd has gathered for business lunches, dates, weekend dinners, cocktails and weddings for over a century. And it's easy to see why people enjoy classic Swedish food served in one of the country's most beautiful settings, when the wings of history meet the present in a relaxed and inviting way.
Villa Godthem is leased and run by restaurateur Antonio Stefanidis.
