On idyllic Djurgården, but still close to the pulse of the big city, is Villa Godthem, a unique Swiss-style wholesaler's villa from the late 19th century. In our lovely garden you can escape the stress of the big city and get a rural feeling in combination with good food and drink. Here you will find peace and holiday tranquility - even though it is in the middle of the city with a view of the Djurgård Canal. Villa Godthem is ideal for the whole family - a playful place for both large and small guests.
We are now looking for a café manager for the summer of 2024.
- Full time from June to September (possibly already from May if the weather is on our side).

What we are looking for in you
Social skills are more important than being able to carry many plates perfectly or mix a drink. That can always be learned :blush:.
Your eye and feeling is what matters! It's natural for you to wash dishes, remove dead leaves from plants, wipe tables, ask guests if the food was good or help a guest who might be looking for something.
We at Villa Godthem have a unique environment, get to work near the water in a fantastically beautiful garden. Our guests who come are everything from regulars and family to tourists. Some just want to have a coffee, others want to eat food and some just want to have a drink. We also represent all ages, from strollers to the elderly who have been with us since the beginning. There is something for everyone! Therefore, it is extra important that we adapt our service to the guests in the different target groups, an elderly person may need help with their tray to the table or a parasol needs to be moved because they want shade etc. And all this you see - and love to contribute to the guests leaving us satisfied with the desire to visit us again soon!

As a waiter/waitress you have great responsibility for the service in the restaurant. In the role as a waiter/waitress, you should be outgoing and like a fast pace.
You should preferably have previous experience and enjoy the contact with guests and employees that the role involves.

Headmaster
2 positions, Court Master (May - September, full-time/part-time)
In the role of Court Master, you are responsible for hosting both guests and staff.
As well as being part of the operations, you will have overall control of the flow of guests in the restaurant and work with the team to prioritise tasks to keep the business running smoothly and guests happy.
You will lead and distribute the work and manage the staffing during your shift. If necessary, you will have the opportunity to train new employees and you will also relieve the restaurant manager of certain administrative tasks.
