Theprestigious DI Weekend has reviewed Ricordi and the restaurant testers write, among other things: "The kitchen includes William Brittsjö, who in tough competition managed to make it to the final of the Chef of the Year competition in September. Having certain expectations of the food therefore feels quite reasonable. Not least, it feels refreshing to have an anything but dutiful snack menu that contains far more than just olives and nuts. How about fried olives stuffed with salsiccia or, even better, similarly fried arancini balls stuffed with risotto and truffles?"
They further write: "The starters are also fun and fresh. The Swedish burrata from Frägstamejeri in happy Hudik is absolutely delicious, with tomatoes with considerably more flavour than one is used to".
They describe the interior with words like:
"Ricordi is the Italian word for memories, and the Guven brothers have done their best to create the conditions for guests to make such memories in the colorful interior. Inspiration is said to have come from Harry's Dolce Vita restaurant in the exclusive Knightsbridge area of London. [...] At the same time, artist Malin Gabriella Nordin was given a free hand to create large colorful ceiling paintings for the right feel. The result is successful. The space feels bright and welcoming, and the outdoor seating area, which occupies most of the sidewalk outside, enjoys the best sunlight from morning to evening. No wonder it's packed."
DI Weekend concludes: "There is every reason to return to Ricordi. And not just to try to get one of the coveted seats on the terrace".
Thank you DI Weekend - welcome back!
